Animal Repair Shop (ARS) is a new mixed reality entertainment studio founded by a team of Alternate Reality Gaming industry veterans. We create immersive, connected and personal experiences, and love bringing new forms of audience engagement to life in fun and unexpected ways. Our original projects span film, television, location-based entertainment, AR/VR, publishing, gaming and mobile—bridging the gap between the digital and physical worlds, as well as storytelling and gaming.

Senior Brand and Marketing Producer

ARS is looking for an experienced Sr. Creative Producer to handle studio and product branding, valuable IP and licensing fulfillment, and social and marketing for its cutting-edge projects. This person is responsible for developing and executing consumer engagement strategies for ARS products in development, and must ensure that ARS successfully connects with consumers across a variety of marketing platforms, both digital and traditional.

The Sr. Brand and Marketing Producer is also the primary interface between ARS and its world-class IP, brand and social partners; facilitating clear communication between IP brand management and ARS ensures the successful execution of best in class products. This position will also establish social protocols for ARS branded and partner integrated channels for communications and marketing.

The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator; a self-starter who is highly organized, enjoys regularly interfacing with people, and is comfortable working closely with multiple product teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

3D Artist/Animator Generalist

ARS is looking for a talented 3D Artist and Animator, with experience modeling, rigging, skinning, lighting and animating complex characters for real-time rendered content platforms.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating next-generation immersive experiences.

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of professional experience creating 3D assets for games, simulations or similar
  • Advanced knowledge of 3D modeling and animation software, such as Maya, 3DS Max, Rhino, Z-Brush, etc.
  • Has experience in Unity
  • A detail-oriented mindset with excellent visualization skills

AR Engineer

ARS is looking for an Augmented Reality (AR) Engineer who is passionate about creating next-generation immersive experiences.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ Years of creating and delivering professional game, simulation or similar application projects
  • Advanced knowledge of the Unity Game Engine and Editor
  • Extensive experience creating Unity-based applications for AR and/or VR platforms

Visual Designer

ARS is looking for a versatile and experienced Visual Designer who is comfortable creating art in a wide-variety of styles; from modern and edgy, to commercial, to family-focused. Given the nature of ARS’s mixed-reality projects, the designer must also be comfortable creating assets for a variety of needs.

The ideal candidate can work in both print and digital mediums, and should have a special love and fascination with typography.

Qualifications

  • Mastery of the tools and techniques of traditional visual arts
  • Professional visual design experience
  • A background in digital art production
  • Mastery of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Must have contributed art to a completed interactive project of significant size and complexity

Responsibilities

  • Report to and work directly with the VP of Visual Design to develop an art style that supports and enhances the vision of the Project Creative Director
  • Create production art assets including but not limited to: concept art, style-guides, digital paintings, 3D textures, motion-graphic animations, marketing materials and interactive interface elements.
  • Partner with ARS technical and production resources to create visual assets that function within the requirements and limitations of the project’s target platform(s)
  • Work with the Creative Producer to deliver assets in accordance with the project’s schedule

Interaction Designer

ARS is looking for an Interaction Designer who can create quickly, ideate and wireframe unique interactive experiences.

The ideal candidate has experience with creating, testing and level balancing. They must be well-organized and have great attention to detail – along with an understanding of how story can be incorporated into puzzles and gameplay. This role interfaces with the VP of Interaction and Game Design on a daily basis to walk through and massage mechanics and experience flow.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of level design experience
  • Avid player of puzzles and games
  • A firm understanding of a variety of game mechanics and genres
  • Experience with ideating, rapid prototyping and developing innovative gameplay
  • Examples of published games/puzzles/interactives, in a variety of media formats
