3D Artist & Animator

Hal is a game artist and animator who loves digging into how great games tell stories—not just through writing, but through systems, mechanics, and visual design. He graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts with a BA in Animation and Digital Art in 2020, along with a minor in Game Animation that sparked his interest in coding and game engines.

While still in school, Hal created Quill paintings and animations for A Life In Pieces: The Diary and Letters of Stanley Hayami, a VR experience developed by Emblematic Group for the Japanese American National Museum. Hal then joined Turn Me Up Games in Burbank, where he spent two years helping build the core animation systems for their first original IP.

Hal thrives on small, interdisciplinary teams where artists, designers, and engineers work closely to make something greater than the sum of its parts, and where he can help ensure that every asset supports both the narrative and gameplay experience. He brings a designer’s mindset to his artistic work, always focused on what makes gameplay feel meaningful and impactful—and how art can support that at every level.
