With over twenty-eight years of experience developing digital interactivity for global brands, Jonathan brings a unique perspective to the cross-section between digital and real-world experiences, anchored in his early work creating world-renowned narrative adventure games at LucasArts and innovative interactive robotic toys with Lego Mindstorms.

This work in games & toys led to Jonathan developing most of Disney’s earliest forays into digital interactivity, as a director of R&D technology focused on New Business Development, Wireless Technology, New Media Development, Interactive Television, Next Generation Content Delivery, and Internet. This included directing research projects involving location-aware cell-phone clients, Blu-Ray content strategy, mobile blogging, image analysis, RFID, Internet advertising, and more.

Jonathan is most recently acclaimed for his innovative work immersing audiences of millions through location-based games and mobile apps that expand upon Disney’s incredible story worlds, like Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, Epcot World Showcase Adventure, and A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas. Located at Disney Parks, Resorts and Cruise Ships worldwide, these story-driven experiences personalize and activate these beloved destinations through cutting-edge technology. This work influenced other industries, bringing similar mobile activation and interactivity that brings joy to patients at Children’s Hospitals.
